Online conference: Digital WE Days
September 22, 2025Würth Elektronik’s Digital WE Days virtual conference has established itself as an important and popular source of information for electronics developers: Specialists from the manufacturer of passive components and its partner companies present interesting and current topics from a wide range of areas in the electronics industry.

Würth Elektronik is far more than just a component manufacturer. “Innovation needs knowledge transfer. That’s why the Digital WE Days event is far more than just a conference for us — it’s a platform where we share expertise, put trends into context, and provide fresh impetus for the future of the electronics industry. Our goal is to make knowledge available where it’s needed — digital, freely accessible and always in step with the times. This is precisely how we live up to our claim: more than you expect,” stressed Alexander Gerfer, CTO of the Würth Elektronik eiSos Group.
Experts from Würth Elektronik and a wide range of partner companies share in-depth electronics expertise first-hand at this ever-popular event. Participants gain valuable insights into current developments as well as practical, solution-oriented approaches.
Information and dialog
The online specialist presentations are held in English and last around 30 minutes. Each participant then has the opportunity to ask the presenters questions. Anyone unable to attend the live event can watch a recording at any time on the Würth Elektronik YouTube channel. The target group of the event is developers as well as other interested parties from across the electronics industry. The broad range of topics covers all aspects of information and power electronics. Complementary topics such as electromagnetic compatibility and PCB design also play an important role.

This highly popular event among professionals dates back to COVID year 2020, when virtual events replaced in-person meetings. It was launched under the name “WE meet @ digital days.” Right at the start, around 2,300 participants were registered. But the online presentations continued to be a success even after the pandemic. Since 2023, the virtual conference has been called Digital WE Days and has attracted more than 4,300 participants in both 2023 and 2024.

Continuation is assured
A well-established team at the Würth Elektronik Studio now ensures smooth and professional running of Digital WE Days. “The success of Digital WE Days serves both as validation and motivation for us. In line with our mission Creating Together, we strive to share knowledge and open up new perspectives. That’s why, over the coming years, we’ll not only continue the online conference consistently, but also develop it further — as a driver of new technologies and practical solutions,” said Gerfer.
