Innovative clamping technology for the most stringent requirements
GlobalSpec News Desk | April 21, 2025Push-pull toggle clamps from Norelem are ideal for precise and reliable clamping and retention operations in production. Among other things, they are used to clamp workpieces during machining operations such as grinding, milling or welding in metalworking. In furniture manufacturing they are used to hold wooden parts securely during sawing and planing. They are also used in the electronics industry for the assembly and mounting of printed circuit boards, electronic components and devices.
Robust, versatile and flexible
Be it for welding, milling or planing — push-pull toggle clamps from Norelem impress with their high strength and stability. They work on the basis of a push rod that is moved by a toggle lever. This movement generates the necessary clamping force to hold the workpiece securely. Most push-pull toggle clamps can be used in both push and pull applications, as they lock in both the open and closed position. This means that they can be used flexibly for a range of clamping tasks.
In addition to numerous standard steel or stainless steel versions, Norelem also offers horizontal, weldable and heavy-duty toggle clamps. Source: Norelem
With 10 new families (05837-10 to 05837-28), Norelem expands its range of push-pull toggle clamp variants with retaining forces of 500 N to 33,350 N, offering the appropriate clamping technology for every application and optimally complementing the existing designs. They are made of electro zinc-plated steel or A2 stainless steel; the stainless steel variants are corrosion-resistant. The push-pull toggle clamps are durable and have oil-resistant plastic grips.
Wide application range — easy integration
The new push-pull toggle clamp models are ideal for quickly and safely clamping and releasing workpieces. In addition to mini and standard push-pull toggle clamps made of steel or stainless steel with retaining forces up to 3,150 N and steel versions with retaining forces up to 6,675 N, Norelem also has a rotatable model with retaining forces up to 2,000 N in the range. Horizontal, weldable and heavy duty versions are also available. All models can be mounted either by screwing on or welding, enabling flexible integration into existing systems.
