FlexLink unveils innovative collaborative palletizing system
GlobalSpec News Desk | January 10, 2025FlexLink, a provider of material handling solutions, has introduced its new RC12, which is the company’s third-generation collaborative palletizer.
Designed to enhance the efficiency and safety of end-of-line operations, the RC12 reportedly offers a streamlined, flexible palletizing solution for demanding production environments.
FlexLink’s RC12 collaborative robot optimizes manufacturing processes by combining reliable automation tech with ease of use.
The RC12 built-in robotic technology simplifies production workflows and its compact design reduces the required floor space by more than 50% versus traditional industrial robots, making it ideal for production lines with limited space.
Further, the system operates without the need for barriers, cages or additional safety elements and meets ISO/TS 15066 safety standards for collaborative robotics.
Meanwhile, its redesigned gripper and additional safety padding allow for the safe interaction between workers and the machine while its integrated Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Robot Config palletizing software enables operators to create and adjust pallet patterns in minutes.
Further, it features a capacity of up to 14 cases per minute using a double-pick gripper and its redesigned base includes an enlarged electrical cabinet for easy customization, maintenance and access.
