Thermon has introduced the EXO TOUCH, a single-point control and monitoring unit engineered for easy and reliable thermal management of hot water temperature control, grease waste flow maintenance, freeze protection, surface and gutter de-icing and snow melt.

Internationally certified for usage in ordinary locations, the EXO TOUCH enclosure is outdoor-rated for exceptional performance and reliability, regardless of the weather. EXO TOUCH conforms to UL-61010-1Source: Thermon standards and is in process for UL 515A approval for fire sprinkler application.

The EXO TOUCH model features single-point heat trace control capability, an LCD touchscreen, two thermistor inputs, visual and audible alarms, and a variety of adjustable control settings. The 4.3 inch resistive touch display allows the user to easily navigate through the available control settings on the simple and intuitive interface.

The EXO TOUCH also features:

• LED backlit Thermon logo provides visual, color-coded monitor cues.
• Control methods utilize ON/OFF, ON/OFF Limiter, APCM (Ambient Proportional Control Mechanism) and APCM Limiter methods with mechanical relays.
• Current measurement capable of heater current measurements up to 35 A.
• Ground fault measurement detects ground fault current from 0 mA to 200 mA.
• Thermistors, two included, support a temperature measurement range of -40° C to 125° C (-40° F to 257° F) with a high accuracy rate of +1° C.
• Audible alarm notifies user of any alarm condition, even in that absence of the unit’s visual inspection.
