The package includes all the process control gear required to automate fastening tasks are included, and plug-and-perform turnkey assembly eliminates the need for a specialized programmer.

The workstation features a UR5e six-axis collaborative robot with 850 mm reach, teach pendant and VCM-3X.2 cobot screwdriver module with Model 94 feeder. A torque/angle control tightening system and area scanner with a 270° enhanced safety zone are also included.

The area scanner augments cobot safety protocols by creating defined workstation proximity zones. When personnel detection occurs in the intermediate zone, robot speeds are reduced, and movement is completely halted if the closet zone is reached.
