New Ecofit PA plastic backward-curved fan modules create high ventilation efficiency with no increase in noise or vibrations. The design of the modules optimizes the airflow by minimizing losses. The new fans come with a choice of AC or electronically commutated (EC) motors, in 115 V and 230 V input.

Now available from Rosenberg USA, the 192 mm EC models provide airflow of up to 506 CFM at free air. AC models move a maximum of 421 CFM. The new fan modules have a wide operating temperature range, from -20° C to 60° C (-4° F to 140° F), making them suitable for many different environments.

The 192 mm modules are the first of a new product line. More sizes — including 220 mm and 225 mm — will be available soon.

Easy installation is built into Ecofit’s new backward curved modules. Their design features standard mounting points, and cable connections can be adapted to fit specific applications. At just 1.95 kg (4.3 lbs) the new fans are considerably lighter than comparable metal fan modules.

The new fans are also made with safety in mind. They are constructed from flame retardant material and feature motor protection in case of a locked rotor. Fingerguards are available on the suction side.
