A robot dog with musculoskeletal limbs has been developed by the China-based startup Hengbot.

The company claims that the artificial intelligence (AI)-driven, canine-inspired robot, dubbed Sparky, is the first of its kind to feature musculoskeletal limbs.

Capable of moving like a real dog, Sparky can run, jump and do tricks and features a built-in camera and microphone so that it can respond to commands and initiate conversations.

According to Hengbot, Sparky will soon be available on Kickstarter.
