Selecting enclosures for various industrial applications is simplified with the Rittal Configuration System. The tool streamlines the configuration of Rittal enclosures and accessories.

The Rittal Configuration System encompasses the company’s enclosure product families including select freestanding, wall-mount and junction box enclosures. Users can select desired specifications from a set of filters and choose by product family, by dimensions, by IP rating or by a combination of filters. Doors, locks, mounting roof and walls, lighting, rails, cable management, fan units, heaters and other accessories are then added. Lastly, users are able to modify the enclosure with any needed holes and cut-outs for their application.

The complimentary and intelligent online tool supports inclusion of only appropriate accessories that may be used with the selected enclosure, removing the risk of design errors. The system allows users to import their own CAD data for creating modification elements in the project and permits viewing in a 3D CAD environment where the user can rotate, move and zoom in and out on the model.
