One can speed up their servo system by installing NBK’s XG-series.

For now, high torsional stiffness couplings such as disk and bellows types have been used for servomotors. However, recent servomotors have very high-speed response frequency. When using full-metal couplings the hunting phenomenon occurs so one needs to suppress the servomotor performance by decrease servo gain. That is to say that one cannot maximize their servomotor performance. (Auto tuning is the same thing, just suppress the motor’s performance)

NBK’s “XG-series” can absorb the vibration enough so that higher gain levels can be used and one thereby shortens their stabilization time and improves their industrial productivity.

Furthermore, we recommend using “XGHW-series” (vibration-absorption capable disk type coupling). These couplings are suitable for high cutting resistance applications used with lead screws for machining tools. Then one can reduce the cutting vibration and keep precision machining accuracy.
