Source: GracoSource: GracoFluid management product supplier Graco has debuted a new G-Mini compact lubrication pump that complements the company’s G1 and G3 series. It is designed with an optional built-in heater that automatically turns on at low temperatures.

The built-in heater allows the G-Mini to pump NLGI grade 2 grease at temperatures as low as -40° F. The pump extends equipment life cycles and its IP69K design can withstand the harshest environments. All models come with low-level notification, which helps operators ensure that there is always sufficient grease in the reservoir.

The G-Mini pump is designed for machines such as wind turbines and in-plant equipment. The pump with a controller and heater was installed on the skid loader of a large dairy farm, where the skid loader is used 10 to 12 hours a day, every day. Grease points on the skid loader should be greased daily, but staff were unable to do this. When the machine breaks down, it can be out of commission for about half a day. The manager said the Graco G-Mini auto greaser keeps the skid loader in service because it is durable and keeps working in extreme environments.
