M. Holland Co., a thermoplastics resin distributor, has officially launched its online platform devoted to 3D printing.
The platform, dubbed the Additive Manufacturing Educational Portal, grants users access to training programs, educational courses, certifications, materials, printed parts and technical information.
To offer access to the content, M. Holland has been developing the system for the last several months. Although the 3D-printing group will continue to offer in-person training, the online system gives business partners another way to learn new skills and access 3D-printing guidance and information across hundreds of processes and dozens of materials.
Members of the Additive Manufacturing Educational Portal can enroll in courses and access other resources according to their requirements. The site also offers individually priced training options on an assortment of topics, including essentials for fused deposition modeling, selective laser sintering, photopolymerization (stereolithography) and digital light processing; guidance on 3D-printer selection; material properties; and more. M. Holland’s 3D-printing experts can also customize the coursework based on specific organizational needs.
“Based on months of research and content development, we are pleased to launch this virtual hub to complement our on-site training services and provide our clients with educational resources,” said Haleyanne Freedman, market manager and engineering consultant, 3D printing, at M. Holland. “This site provides a library of educational courses, certifications and curricula, which are easily accessible for those who are interested in learning more about 3D-printing technologies.”
