With the final test phase complete, a new storage solution for LNG fuel has addressed needs in the marine industry. Not only is it compact and easy to install, but it has the ability to maintain higher pressures than traditional membrane tanks, offering an attractive solution for storage capacities ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 cubic meters.

The LNG Brick from GTT has successfully ended its test phase and with the integration of their Mark III cryogenic liner has proven to be a reliable, high-performance solution that is delivered as a block and ready for installation.

The new membrane containment solution is easily integrated into LNG-propelled vessels. It also facilitates handling and utilization of small volumes of boil-off gas, improving fuel quality and fuel economics.

Chairman and CEO of GTT Philippe Berterottière stated: "We are pleased to be able to expand our range of membrane containment systems with this reliable, high-performance solution. Given the current economic environment and LNG price levels, it seems to us to be an appropriate answer to address many of our customers’ concerns."
