Engineering Insight: Proximity Sensors
November 19, 2017Source: Engineering360
This graph summarizes the search tendencies displayed by Engineering360 users with respect to the industry they identified with while registering. The graph shows the search contribution each industry makes in the specified areas relative to the search contribution each industry makes across eddy current proximity sensors, fiber optic proximity sensors, Hall Effect proximity sensors, inductive proximity sensors and photoelectric sensors areas.
Users from the aerospace & defense, engineering/technical design services and oil & gas industries show positive search tendencies in the eddy current proximity sensors area, meaning that users from this industry are searching for these product types more often than other proximity sensor related products. Fiber optic proximity sensors, inductive proximity sensors and photoelectric sensors are searched for much less than eddy current proximity sensors by users in these industries.
In contrast, the food and beverage industry users’ show strong search tendencies toward photoelectric sensors with lower than average searching in the eddy current proximity sensors area.
The medical equipment/instrumentation industry shows a strong search tendency for products in fiber optic and Hall Effect proximity sensors area as opposed to any other proximity sensors area.
