Electronic Flowmeter with Vortex Shedding Technology
Shawn Martin | July 05, 2017
Burger and Brown Engineering, Inc. designed their Tracer®vm Electronic Flowmeter to provide programmable switch set points that can be activated by flow rate or temperature and turbulent flow rate.
The flowmeter utilizes reliable vortex shedding technology to monitor liquid flow and temperature. It provides analog voltage outputs for connection to a data acquisition system or programmable logic controller and features a totalizing function and local user interface for volume display and calculation of British thermal units (BTUs) per minute.
The user interface features sealed push-buttons, a bright colored LCD and user-friendly menus. SPDT switches can be directly wired to alarm circuitry or other peripheral equipment and NIST traceable calibration is also available.
My comment is in regards to "XENO"-current flow monitoring. Is the mentioned subject phenomena adjacent?
Or is the purpose of function simply for monitoring of usage as per machine or device(s)?
