Methods 3D, Inc., a unit of Methods Machine Tools broadened its presence in additive manufacturing through the completion of seven laboratories across the U.S.

The labs are equipped with 18 printers including Direct Metal Printing (DMP), Select Laser Sintering (SLS), Stereolithography (SLA) and Multi-Jet models running 14 different materials.

Post-processing equipment is also available onsite.Post-processing equipment such as EDM, CNC machining, automation and inspection is also available onsite.

The additive manufacturing labs are in each of Methods Machine Tools' technology centers including Sudbury, Mass.; Detroit, Mich.; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago, Ill.; Phoenix, Ariz.; San Francisco, Calif.; and Los Angeles, Calif.

In October 2015, Methods Machine Tools entered into a partner agreement with 3D Systems, a provider of 3-D digital design and fabrication products, including 3-D printers, print materials, and cloud-sourced custom parts.
