Telematics refers to the area of information technology that deals with the long-distance transmission of computerized information.
Transflo Telematics includes three components: Transflo Telematics portal, Transflo T7 ELD, and Transflo Mobile platform. The design is intended to help carriers and professional drivers comply with electronic logging regulations. Drivers access electronic logs and other data while fleet managers access data and reporting about drivers, vehicles, and fleets.
The Transflo Telematics portal includes real-time GPS truck tracking, fuel consumption monitoring, and route analysis; vehicle diagnostics with visibility into engine faults, driver behavior, and other engine-derived information; accident detection, notification, and reconstruction; second-by-second recording, capturing advanced engine data; cellular capability coupled with highly sensitive GPS and accelerometer data; hours-of-service display with driver vehicle inspection report; load management, document capture, and mapping for routing, weather, and fuel stops; and dispatch chat, driver training, and driver settlement statement access.
