At Plastimagen in Mexico City from March 11 to March 14, 2025, ARBURG (Hall D, Stand 730) will be presenting two innovative injection molding machines. The Allrounder 720 E Golden Electric will be manufacturing a sample component for the mobility industry, while an Allrounder 470 H will be demonstrating the benefits of hybrid machine technology with the production of a drinking cup. The ARBURG experts will also be providing advice on all aspects of digitalization and showcasing new features relating to the ALS host computer system, arburgXworld customer portal and ARS Remote Service, for example.

Electric: Allrounder 720 E Golden Electric

Slimline design with a price to match – these are the main advantages of the Allrounder 720 E Golden Electric in a nutshell. The electric injection molding machine has a clamping force of 2,800 kN and is only 1,848 millimeters wide. It was designed in response to challenges such as increasing price pressure combined with rising costs for labor, energy and materials as well as ever shorter product life cycles and faster product changeovers. Visitors to the trade fair can experience the production of indicator levers made of PA6 GF50 and see for themselves the benefits of this high-performance, easily accessible machine, which can also be used flexibly in other industries.

Hybrid: Allrounder 470 H "Premium"

The hybrid ALLROUNDER machines in the HIDRIVE series combine an energy-efficient and precise electric clamping unit with a powerful and dynamic hydraulic injection unit. Particularly impressive features include reduced purchase and operating costs, an optimized energy footprint and reduced cycle times. In Mexico, the exhibit will be producing cups made of PP using a two-cavity mold by way of example. A MULTILIFT SELECT 8 linear robotic system removes the molded parts and stacks them on a conveyor belt. The standard equipment of the "Premium" performance variant includes the ARBURG electro-mechanical dosage (AED) function for longer dosing and hydraulic accumulator technology with the ARBURG servo hydraulic system (ASH).
