Video doorbell maker Ring is making a supply of its product, valued at $1 million, to Habitat for Humanity homeowners. The doorbells will be available on request for Habitat homes built in the United States in 2021.

The two organizations are committed to providing families with a safe and secure home to live and grow. The Ring Video Doorbells provide security and peace of mind to residents while they are at home and also when they are away. The systems include HD video, two-way talk and advanced motion settings that can supplement neighborhood safety programs and promote safe communities.

Ring provides an element of security that goes beyond the device itself. In addition to the doorbells, Ring will include a Ring Protect Plan subscription that covers each installed device for its lifetime at no additional expense to the Habitat homeowners.
