The electric motors are stationed on front and rear axles and they come in different power outputs.

While the Model X 90D has a range of 413 km from a full charge of the car’s traction battery, it offers a 250 km/h top speed. For more power, the Ludicrous Speed Upgrade delivers 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.

Other features include the Model X’s Falcon Wing rear doors that open upwards. The doors have two hinges, with one on the roof, so passengers can enter or exit in tight spaces with ease. The doors are equipped with ultrasonic sensors that measure available space before opening, and capacitive sensors that detect close objects and prevent the door from hitting objects.

The car also includes a HEPA filter that removes pollen, bacteria, viruses and pollution from the outside air before circulating it throughout the vehicle.

The interior features a 17-inch touchscreen system, activated and operated with voice control, GPS navigation with a Homelink system, and a 17-speaker audio system that Tesla says will not drain the battery. The vehicle also features a variety of sensors and radar systems for autonomic emergency braking capabilities and the ability to monitor surrounding traffic.
