Virtual events showcase automation, mechanical power
Engineering360 News Desk | October 21, 2020While the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many tradeshows and conferences to cancel, many recent events from the automation, power transmission and mechanical components space have transformed into virtual events.
A notable upcoming event is Rockwell’s Automation at Home, taking place virtually from November 16-20. The show’s schedule includes sessions on inclusion and diversity, hands-on labs, industry forums, Process Solutions User Group sessions and product demos. Attendees can register on Rockwell’s website.
In late September, multi-industry group AD’s Bearings & Power Transmission Division hosted its first virtual member-only network meeting with over 90 member companies represented. The network meeting was one of seven AD meetings across multiple industries that have shifted to virtual this fall. The events were designed for networking, keeping members up to date on group performance, programs and services available from AD, and to foster relationship-building.
Finally, FVA’s Bearing World moved online from October 19-23. Topics for the free event included bearing durability, mechanics, electric drive technology, bearing challenges, fatigue, tribology and more.
