Engineering360 News Desk | May 20, 2020Source: Schroeder IndustriesFluid filtration and condition monitoring company Schroeder Industries has launched its HFS-15 Handy Filter System, a portable offline filtration system.
The HFS-15 lets owners and operators of hydraulic fluid powered and oil-lubricated machines experience different degrees of filtration efficiency and capacity. The HFS-15 system, which weighs just 30 lbs, is housed in a compact, mobile package and features everything necessary to clean oil.
The portable HFS-15 provides for filling and flushing hydraulic systems, the temporary filtration of solid and free water contaminates from bulk oil storage, and the reclamation of serviceable, mineral-based fluids that would have otherwise resulted in high disposal costs.
According to its developers, the HFS-15 Handy Filter System improves the service life of the components and systems, fluid service life and machine availability, while also cutting the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the machines it services.
