Source: Watson-MarlowWatson-Marlow’s Fluid Technology Group’s (WMFTG’s) Qdos chemical metering pumps now feature four configurable outputs that enable users to eliminate the need for additional programmable logic controls (PLCs) and provide extra flexibility when communicating with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) or other external monitoring systems.
WMFTG has expanded its Qdos Universal Plus Relay Series to provide four configurable outputs in addition to a 4-20 mA loop. As a result, users can access increased options for connectivity, enabling improved communication regarding pump performance and function status.
All Qdos Universal Plus Relay Pumps manufactured by WMFTG from March 2020 will feature four changeover relay outputs, with either 110 VAC 4 A or 24 VDC 4 A contact rating. These configurable outputs will appear alongside the current 4-20 mA, providing a total of five outputs.
The upgrade has been facilitated by the addition of a newly designed relay PCB for the Universal Plus Relay (R) model. To allow quick set-up of the four outputs, the software has been modified for more intuitive configuration.
