Source: The Lee CompanySource: The Lee CompanyThe Lee Company, a supplier of precision fluid control products, has introduced its Hi-Damped Pressure Relief Insert (HD PRI) for systems exposed to operating pressures and pressure spikes too extreme for traditional relief valves.

When exposed to such extremes, traditional relief valves may experience instability, erosion and structural damage when encountering high or spiking pressure. As such, the HD PRI valve from the Lee Company features dual hydraulic dampening chambers offering stable relief flow over different flow rates and pressure combinations.

Applications for the HD PRI include steering systems, flow dividers and flight control actuators for the aerospace, motorsport and oil exploration industries to name just a few.

Composed entirely of stainless steel, the HD RPI can be used in hydraulic systems with operating pressures of up to 5000 psi (344 bar).
