Registration now open for VMA's third annual Valve Forum
Engineering360 News Desk | March 09, 2020The Valve Manufacturers Association of America (VMA) has announced details about its 2020 Valve Forum: Conference and Exhibits in Phoenix.
The third annual Valve Forum, which will be held April 29 through May 1 at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Scottsdale, includes three separate educational tracks organized by industry experts in the technical, manufacturing and management/marketing fields. At the forum, exhibit table-top displays will offer attendees the opportunity to network with suppliers and other companies, offering services to the valve, flow control and automation industry. The event also includes pre-conference workshops and tours of local organizations, showcasing innovations from beyond the valve industry.
The keynote, “Bridging the Gaps — How to Transfer Knowledge in Today’s Multigenerational Workplace,” will be the opening session. Other session topics include: the latest trends in Industry 4.0, IIoT, robotics, severe service valves, end-user perspectives, visual storytelling, effective workplace communications, cybersecurity and more.
“We’re excited to host this annual event; the Valve Forum is a place for valve industry professionals to update their expertise and network with peers across disciplines,” said Heather Rhoderick, VMA president.
The event is open to those in the valve, valve actuation and valve automation industry, and is appropriate for end users, engineering and consulting firms, distributors, manufacturing and supplier firms, or related industry groups and professionals.
Those in attendance will earn 10-plus professional development hours (PDHs) and a certificate of completion at the close of the event. Registration is now open, and more information can be found online.
