A new photography competition salutes the art of aerial photographs taken by drones. The winners of the inaugural Drone Awards contest are recognized for capturing artful compositions in the categories of nature, people, sport, wildlife, urban and abstract.

The Drone Awards was launched by Art Photo Travel, a non-profit association that supports cultural initiatives aimed at spreading, promoting and enhancing photography, art, cultures and natural beauty.
