The new LINOS inspec.x L 5.6/105 VIS-NIR lens series was developed by Excelitas Technologies Corp. for large format high-resolution camera sensors optimized for visible and near infrared (VIS-NIR) sensitivity.

The LINOS inspec.x L 5.6/105 VIS-NIR lens series sets a new standard for optimizing the field of visual and non-visual inspection. Offering exceptionally high-quality color correction and apochromatic design, ultra-sharp and high-contrast images can be created at a wide range of different wavelengths from visible lightSource: Excelitas Technologies Corp.Source: Excelitas Technologies Corp. (400 nm to 700 nm) to near-infrared light (700 nm to 1150 nm), with no need to refocus. The diffraction-limited design provides high performance across the entire object field, so that optimal results can also be achieved at the edges.

The new series comes with four different lenses that are optimized for different magnifications in the 0.25 times to 4 times range. This means that inspection tasks can be carried out at working distances of ~100 mm to 500 mm. The series is equipped with the established V-groove interface, which can be connected to virtually any industrial camera using the Excelitas Modular Focus System. In addition to its outstanding optical performance, inspec.x L VIS-NIR lenses provide excellent flexibility and modularity.

The inspec.x L 5.6/105 VIS-NIR lenses are optimal for multi-spectral and hyperspectral applications, including machine vision, industrial inspection and quality control in PCB, print, surface, waste, pharmaceutical, food and battery manufacturing, among others.

Additional features include:

  • VIS-NIR achromatically corrected lens
  • Broadband coating from 400 nm to 1150 nm
  • Ultra-fine resolution
  • Diffraction-limited design
  • Precision alignment for consistent full field-of-view imaging performance
  • Outstanding price/performance ratio
