SIAD Macchine Impianti (SIAD MI), an Italy-based manufacturer of compressors and air separation units, has launched a new 550-bar, oil-free compressor for hydrogen refueling stations.

Developed for use in heavy-duty vehicle hydrogen refueling stations, the compressor’s high-pressure, oil-free, strong safety focus, low maintenance cycles and low energy consumption were factors in reducing operating costs.
