Tennessee-based robotic painting solutions provider Painjet has launched its Bravo robotic painter and Alpha Shield paint.

Designed for commercial buildings, the company has developed an automated robot capable of precisely painting such structures amid a global labor shortage. The Bravo robot, outfitted with predictive analytics imaging, is reportedly so precise, according to the company, it uses 25% less paint than human painters.

Meanwhile, the Alpha Shield paint developed by the company and applied by the Bravo Robot is expected to protect commercial buildings against corrosion, rain, wind and extreme temperatures, lasting twice as long as standard paints that reportedly need to be re-applied every three to five years. Further, Alpha Shield has insulating properties.
