Ensign Equipment has recently launched its new line of bulk bag conditioners which is engineered to break up solidified and non-free-flowing material that is stored in bulk bags.

The new line features stand-alone designs for pre-conditioning bags before the discharge process, as well as various configurations that directly integrate with Ensign’s existing line of bulk bag unloading stations.

The stand-alone conditioner also features a thick-walled square tube frame along with all protective guards and sensors required to keep operators free from hazards of moving components and pinch points. Two hydraulically actuated conditioning rams, which each produce over 29,000 lbs of force, and a variable-height turntable allow the machine access to all portions of the bulk bag. The integrated PLC with HMI offers full control to operators of the process and enables bags to be conditioned automatically while personnel focus on more value-add processing tasks.
