The factory standard dual silicon carbide mechanical seals feature low thermal expansion and high abrasion resistance relative to the more commonly used carbon versus ceramic seals. This results in superior performance and longevity, with up to a six times longer seal life according to Franklin.

Addition features of the NCX include the motor enclosure sealing system which utilizes Viton O-rings for added chemical and temperature resistance. In addition, the ductile iron casted impellers provide enhanced corrosion resistance and are more robust when handling rigid debris compared to traditional cast iron versions.

The NCX Series pumps are available in single- and three-phase power options to accommodate flows up to 39 L/s (625 US gpm). The NCX series can be used in a variety of applications such as lift stations, sewage systems, stormwater, flood and pollution control, industrial waste and dewatering, wastewater treatment plants and general fluid transfer.
