Video: The new MIXBLEND by INOXPA for effective blending of difficult products
Diana Aoun | October 26, 2021The latest innovation from INOXPA for the food and beverage industry sees the company expand its blender product portfolio by incorporating the new MIXBLEND MB05/10 blender model. The MIXBLEND provides a compact and effective solution for blending solids such as gums, pectins and thickening agents, which are common blending requirements within the industry.
The new MIXBLEND blender stands out for its ability to add solids with a potential for clumping into a liquid medium. Unlike many traditional blenders on the market, it is particularly effective for difficult products that may contain a higher concentration of gums and thickening agents.
The in-line mixer features a venturi system for suction and a hopper with a butterfly valve above the venturi for adding the solids to the liquid flowing through the mixer. By creating negative pressure at the hopper base, the venturi system allows solids to be drawn and easily dissolved as they pass through the mixer housing when the hopper valve opens. The MIXBLEND effectively and simultaneously pumps, disperses and emulsifies as solids are added.
The MIXBLEND comes in two standard models, the MB-05 and the MB-10, with the latter model having a larger flow rate and maximum solids intake. Additional options include double mechanical seals, a drain port, a pneumatically actuated valve with a hygienic low level sensor for solids, a hygienic upper level sensor for solids, a control panel for the vibrator, level sensors and automatic valve, a grid for the hopper, and more.
