Watch how material cloaks soldiers, makes them invisible to thermal imagers
Marie Donlon | July 26, 2021Technology designed to “cloak” soldiers in the field from being detected by infrared sensors has been developed by Israeli defense contractor Polaris Solutions.
The Kit 300 sheet reportedly offers thermal visual concealment thanks to its composition of metals, microfibers and polymers that mask soldier’s thermal signatures and thus keep them from being detected by thermal imaging technology.

Thermal imaging technology can detect people and other objects such as armored vehicles by creating a visual representation of that person or object from which heat radiates.
