Jaguar Land Rover announced an investment in the Solihull manufacturing plant, pumping an extra $184 million into the facility where both the F-Pace and the XE model autos are made.

The announcement was made at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The latest cash boost takes the total amount invested in Solihull to more than $950 million and is the largest investment in the manufacturing plant’s 70-year history.

Jaguar is the UK’s largest automotive business, with more than 25,000 employees. Jaguar Land Rover operations are currently split across five sites with three vehicle manufacturing plants and two advanced design and engineering centers.
