Designed for large mobile hydraulic equipment and agricultural machines, the hose excels in extremely dynamic, high-pressure applications and exceeds ISO 3862 Type R15 specifications, according to the manufacturer. R50TC/R56TC hoses withstand both high internal strain as well as frequent external forces caused by motion of the hose in routine operations. The ParLock high-performance skive system is used to attach the hoses to fittings, ensuring high reliability in heavy-duty functions where safety is crucial.

R50TC/R56TC hoses feature a rugged synthetic rubber inner tube, reinforced with four or six high-tensile steel wire spirals and encased in a highly abrasion resistant, MSHA-approved, synthetic rubber cover. The hoses handle a variety of working fluids including petroleum and water-glycol-based fluids, lubricating oils, water and air. Working temperatures range from -40° C to 100° C (maximum water temperature: 85° C; maximum air temperature: 70° C) and minimum burst pressure is rated at 200 MPa to 224 MPa.

Reliability is ensured by subjecting the hoses to one million test cycles at 120% working pressure. Approval has been granted for use with 8,000 psi flanges in straight, 45° and 90° arrangements.
