AGM Container Controls ThumbtackTM and ThumbtackPlus line of miniature breather valves provide pressure and vacuum relief for small enclosures. Their small size, literally the size of a thumbtack, makes them ideal for small transit cases and enclosures with low-flow requirements.

Thumbtack valves are manufactured from injection-molded ABS plastic and feature a one-piece elastomeric sealing element, enabling the valve to be smaller and less expensive than the competition. Integrated vent membranes prevent liquid intrusion up to a submersion depth of one meter.

Unlike most membrane vents that allow intrusion of water vapor, AGM's Thumbtack valves only allow water vapor to penetrate during the brief time they are open to allow the container to breathe. This significantly reduces the amount of vapor that enters the container and keeps the dew point low.
