Chromalox’s Type TEH Enclosure Heaters provide freeze protection and condensate protection for mechanical and electronic components, including valve enclosures, line metering enclosures, control panels, traffic signal boxes and even ATMs.

The heaters feature Nichrome A resistance wire elements as well as high-grade magnesium oxide and Incoloy sheaths to ensure greater life expectancy. Standard models are available up to 400 watts and Chromalox’s online charts can help determine the minimum recommended wattage based on total surface area and temperature differential.

Custom assemblies address the need for higher wattages and optionally an adjustable thermostat is available with a temperature range from 0 to 107° F. The devices are UL and CSA component recognized and feature a galvanized sheet metal cover that prevents corrosion.
